Mark Twain once commented, "Anne is the most touching and beloved character after Alice."

The book begins with Matthew and Marilla planning to adopt a boy who can help with housework, but they end up bringing in Anne, a frightened girl with red hair and freckles all over her face. On the way back from Matthew's house, the chatterbox "Little Chatterbox" conquered this introverted, dull, unmarried old man who was afraid of dealing with women, while he moved Marilla on the way to send Anne away. In this way, the little orphan who lost her parents at a young age worked as a labourer in two foster families and stayed in an orphanage for more than four months, and who longed for a warm home that would accept her, settled down at Green Gables Farm.

This book shows Anne's perspective in detail from the perspective of language and psychology, analyzing the true thoughts of a child when facing certain things, such as getting angry because of others' comments on her appearance, showing vanity and envy when seeing other girls wearing loose sleeves... These are the thoughts that everyone will have when growing up.

What most directly and most impresses readers about Anne is her love for life. "Victoria Island", "Violet Stream Bath", "Haunted Forest". Every seemingly ordinary mountain road, river, and woods can be covered with a vibrant veil in her imagination. From her perspective, every corner is worthy of praise. Sometimes life is not satisfactory, but as long as you have a pair of eyes that are good at discovering beauty, you will find that the world is colourful.

Real life is full of imagination. Regardless of adversity or prosperity, Anne pursues happiness in her imagination again and again and affects the people around her. The sunshine under Green Gables is joyful, and Anne is the sunshine that shines on Green Gables. Anne's world is pure and positive. She is like a beam of light, infecting everyone around her with her enthusiasm.

Good fairy tales can make people return to nature, return to their true selves, bathe in the warmth of humanity, and fill their hearts with hope and strength.
