Our protagonist Daphne is left behind by her fiancé a few weeks before her wedding, which leads her to move in with Miles (her fiancé's new girlfriend's ex-boyfriend). Daphne realizes she has no friends and begins to search for herself and her inner thoughts. But she slowly starts to get over her fiancé until she falls in love with Miles. And by getting involved in community groups, she makes her current job her dream job.

It seems like a cliché plot, but it’s well-written! How two heartbroken people support

each other and grow up again. Some of the points in it touched me. Sometimes we just need to jump out of our circle to look at the problem. This book is not just about love, but also about the process of self-growth as a woman.

But I also had a lot of questions while reading this book. Some of the things that happened in this book are simple: Daphne's problems with her father, Daphne's problems with Miles, and Daphne's problems with Daphne's friends. But what made me feel helpless was that some of the questions were ridiculous - like how could Daphne break down because she was wronged in the same city block, where she realized she had wronged someone in the same way just a few hours ago? How could she be so unwilling to give herself some hope?

Overall, this book is great. I like the line "Feelings are like weather. They just

happen, and then they pass." This is my favourite book of 2024! I'm already looking forward to what Emily Henry will write next. If you also love romance novels, I highly recommend it!
