urassic World Evolution

Jurassic World Evolution is a game where you create and manage your own dinosaur theme park.  There are many different factors the player has to take into account such as maintaining profit, researching new technology, discovering fossils, planning an efficient layout for the park, and managing/securing dinosaurs.  The game is also very visually appealing with its great scenery and dinosaurs that look as good as they do in the movies.  The main campaign contains five islands with each one providing a new unique challenge for the player to deal with.  The first island, Isla Matanceros, is a great tutorial island that teaches the player all the basics for the game.  The second island, Isla Muerta, has frequent storms which can free dinosaurs from their enclosures and cause mayhem to the park if the player isn’t careful.  The third island, Isla Tacano, tests the player’s ability to make profit as it starts off bankrupt.  The fourth island, Isla Pena, is very small which means the player has to be as efficient as possible when planning the layout for the park.  The fifth and final island, Isla Sorna, has wild dinosaurs already present on the island which can attack visitors at the park.  There is also a sandbox island, Isla Nublar, where the player has unlimited money and resources to build and do whatever they want.  The only noteworthy issues I noticed in this game are the bugs in the dinosaur’s ai.  Sometimes the dinosaurs will have abnormal behavior such as not being able to eat or drink which can be frustrating for the player.  Despite its minor flaws, I still give this game a 4/5 and I would recommend it to any fans of building simulation games or Jurassic Park.
